Nigel began his career with the Fairey Engineering Company and continued it with such organisations as the British Hydromechanics Research Association, Texas Instruments, a company serving as prime contractor to the MoD and a company servicing the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.

His project work includes failure simulation of aircraft controls, a steering device for the Royal Navy and manufacturing lines for mass production of client products. Capitalising on his project experience including working with customers and suppliers from across the world and a keenness to encourage others to develop their skills he moved into training project managers

The first border to understand and conquer is the relationship between the project manager and senior management.
