| 16:25 Selfcoaching Workshop to gain success in project performance |
|
During this captivating workshop you will discover there is unexplored pool of capacities. Using the Alpha-training's framework of well-founded scientific know-how we are able to show how you can determine your own success, and we teach you methods which you can immediately put into practice. Selfcoaching® skills are based on the theoretical premise that our mental activity increases when we encounter a stressful situation (e.g. too little time, doubts, discussions,…) (= beta level). At that point, we no longer have control over our thoughts and emotions or, consequently, our actions. We see every problem 10 times bigger than it actually is. An increase in mental activity directly leads to reduced self-control and increased negative thinking. The art lies in functioning at a lower level of mental activity (=alpha level). At this level we are able to control our thinking, feelings and actions, as well as our memory, problem-solving ability etc. Learning goals: Selfcoaching® skills form an essential buffer. They teach you how to control yourself in order to manage your thoughts, emotions and reactions, and how to work on persistent habits or overcome fears and resistance. You gain self-control in stressful situations. You are able to reduce your stress level and you learn how you can redress the balance. You will discover that you are not just a random victim of work and private stress, and that you are a huge buffer which determines how external factors will influence you. Selfcoaching® skills offer you a tool that allows you to work on personal stressors (fear of failure, inferiority complex, ...), self-motivation, self-guidance, positive stress management, an efficiently functioning memory, bubbling creativity, changing habits and turning objectives into results and to realise long-held objectives. |
