How can Cultural, Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence help PMs deal with the "Edge of Chaos"

This presentation proposes a blend of cultural, emotional and spiritual intelligences (cultural attentiveness), to support highly diverse and complex projects (spanning over multiple time-zones, in international settings).

Such projects are similar to what science calls a complex adaptive system (i.e.: a self-organizing complex system). In order to be successful, such a system must be:

a) Organized from the inside, no externally imposed structure will do (no corporate cookie-cutter approaches),

b) Must be poised at the "Edge of Chaos", a critical point in-between a stable (non dynamic) solution, and chaos (uncontrollable turbulence).

In order to prove valuable: the successful Project Manager will need to use the skills of CQ, EQ and SQ in order to create such a delicate, yet fertile environment.
