Intercultural Project Management (IPM)

Globalization requires new competencies to be able to work more effectively cross-border. Project managers acknowledge the time and effort it takes to reach results in an environment where people have the same cultural value orientation.

International projects also entail a number of problems or limitations due to cultural differences.

This session is an opportunity to gain a first insight in how cultural diversity training results in increased project effectiveness and efficiency

Next to the general framework on dealing with intercultural dimensions in project management, we will also generate some specific insights on managing projects within a Chinese context .
