Kees Vermeulen and Marten Schroder share their believe that project management starts with the people, after all “It’s people that are doing projects”. Working together in the right ‘harmony’ with all people involved in a project (including stakeholders, upper management, project members and project managers of other projects) greatly improves performance, not only for a single project but for all the projects in your company.
In European based companies however, harmony is not something that comes natural and today’s project management practices seem to work against it instead of in favor of it. This is a missed opportunity because harmony stimulates teamwork, motivation, personal and professional growth across your company.
